Never use Hotelplanner.com to book your hotel reservation, they have the worst business ethic I have ever experienced with any third party business. I found them to be very dismissive, extremely unprofessional, highly unethical, and just blatantly dishonest.

I made a reservation, purchased the refund protection offered at the time of the reservation, but they will not honor it. There was a total lack of accountability and a total lack of effort to assist me with my concern. Never use them ever for any reason, they simply have absolutely no integrity whatsoever!!!

As if it wasnt bad enough that I did not get any attempt at resolution, they kept deflecting me to no reply emails and equally unethical business partners that were equally unhelpful, The room reservation was canceled with no refund provided nor offered for a room that will not be used over 2 months in advance. The room can be re-booked

I booked a reservation 7/21/24 with Hotel Planner .But when I went to check in on 7/24/24 I could not because the Virtual Card / Ghost Card number was missing And could not because of a Virtual Credit Authorization not being given to the hotel to even charged. We were at the hotel from 3pm until 9:30pm trying to check in with my children sitting in the car for almost 8hrs . I wanted to stay so I continue to call Hotel Planner costumer service line from my car . I was hung up on twice by Glad and Jean. This by far Is not acceptable on any level of professionalism to hang up on me . Once Homewood Suites spoke with the Supervisor from the Escalation team from Hotel Planner higher up and was able to finish giving all of the virtual card number we were finally checked in at 9pm the Hotel Planner Supervisor promised to compensate us for another night do to all the hassle from 3pm-9pm and we were finally checked in . I’m hoping Hotel Planner goes through with their promise and gives us an entire full day stay . This was the most horrible experiences. I would like to hear back from a Supervisor if I may please about this day . Please give me a call back at 903-316-****. If you would please take some time check through all the notes put in the system and the recorded phone calls of this day you will see how it all transpired and turned into horrible day all over a voucher credit card ghost card number that was missing that Hotel Planner could not resolve .

I wanted a reservation for two nights - Sept. 8-9 - at the Westin Copley Hotel in Boston so I googled the hotel. I ended up contacting Hotel Planner and made the reservation, costing me $980.14 - accomplished in early August.
Two or three weeks later I tried to cancel the reservation because it was so expensive, and was told that my reservation was non refundable, which I had not realized. SO I appealed; I ended up talking to a woman with a very thick accent who described herself as being "Off Shore." I could hardly understand her and should have hung up but I didn't. I told her emphatically that I did NOT want a voucher, that if I could not get a full refund I would keep my reservation. She gave me a voucher for half the value ($490.07) and canceled my reservation. I was not refunded the other half, don't know what happened to it. I did not know that the hotel had agreed to give me a full refund for my deposit, I couldn't figure out how to use the voucher so I had to make another reservation and again I paid the full amount of close to $980.00. The hotel staff were helpful, but they could not refund or honor my initial payment because it had been received by the Hotel Planner rather than the Westin Hotel.
There were two full charges on my credit card and I saw no refunds of any amount. I have since notified my credit card company and asked them to refuse payment for one of the charges.
I plan never again to have any business with this company.
